The dates for the opening exhibit at the Slack-Carroll House (the Country Doctors' Museum) is announced here.


We are also open without reservations Sundays 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. when our next exhibit opens in late Spring. Make your reservations for a tour at other times by calling 732-329-3429, or for making special accommodations.

Frosty visits Dayton's Tree Lighting 2006
Grandma's Lotions and Potions exhibit opens July 22nd and runs through October 28th. Exhibit is free to the public and open Sundays from 1 to 4:30 p.m. and by appointment. It is located at the Slack-Carroll House, 354 Georges Road.

December 2006---Holiday celebration at the five corners and then moving to the Dayton School for hot chocolate, cookies, and more singing. See below for the 2006 celebration highlights.

Directions to the Slack-Carroll House

The Slack-Carroll house is located at 354 Georges Road in Dayton, New Jersey.  You can reach the Slack-Carroll house from exit 8A of the turnpike.  After the exit, take Route 32 West to Route 130 North.  Take Route 130 North to the Dayton Exit (you cross the south bound lanes of 130).  You are now on Georges Road. Go to the first signal light, which is at 'five points.'  354 is the second building north of the signal light on the right hand side of the road. We are working on the Slack-Carroll house Victorian gardens, so please email us should you wish to participate in our activities. We will have our Dayton Village Citizens Coalition offices open most Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons, but call ahead to confirm at 732-208-6111.
