South Brunswick Garden Club
Seventh Annual Plant Exchange and Sale

DATE: Sunday, May 15, 2010

Each year we have a grand time sharing garden plants! For 2010 remember to bring plants to exchange with those of your neighbors to the Slack-Carroll House, 354 Georges Road, Dayton, on the Sunday after Mother's Day between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. You will also find unique plants that grow well in this area. For those who want to buy unique plants, plants will also be available for a modest donation to the South Brunswick Garden Club.

Proceeds are used to fund beautification projects throughout South Brunswick. Plants available include heirloom plants, popular annual bedding flats and six packs, vegetables (heirloom, antique and hybrids), perennials, shrubs such as Rose of Sharon, old garden roses, and even a few small trees. A sampling of perennials available include verbena, daylilies, iris, hostas, peonies, foxglove (biennial), hardy geranium, thornless blackberries, bee balm, and herbs. All available at low cost or for trade. For more information call 732-329-3429 or e-mail info@daytonvillage.org .

Objectives:
The purposes of the South Brunswick Garden Club include sharing information and gardening tips, setting goals for the garden club, planning trips to local or
historical gardens and sharing ideas on gardening software.

Activities:

The Garden Club helps to plant the public places at the five points crossroads in Dayton and in South Brunswick.
