What is the nature of the problem of Malaria in 1944-1945 in New Jersey?

What are the possible sources of exposure and what vectors spread the disease?

Do mosquitoes carry other diseases?

Depending on your team, you have specific questions to answer. To reach these, please go to your role page and click on your specific task.

Some hints-- one will need to describe how one gets malaria, describe the disease, how many people have the disease, and how many have died. Also disclose where is malaria found in the world. What do people think on how the people got malaria. What treatment is available if you get malaria?

What are the risks and effects to the environment and the people/animals of the use of the techniques that will be used to reduce the mosquito populations? What did the scientists believe in the 1940s?
